A Frame Stand attaches to the top of your Cirris cable tester in place of the "cover plates". Special mounting plates (on the top) hold your test connectors in position. Your connectors can be arranged on the frame stand board in any relative position you wish. In this case, the cable test connectors are connected to the tester via cables that plug into our standard AHED-64 adapter boards (must be ordered separately). For this approach to work well the connectors need mounting flanges or mounting rings on the connector bodies so they can be attached securely to the board.
How to Order: Send us your connector(s). If you need more than one connector mounted on the test plate please provide layout information and a sample of the cable or device to be tested. (Please tell us which standard adapters you wish to plug the interface cables into.) We will review and evaluate the cost to construct the Frame-Stand adapter then call or e-mail you the quote.
Part Numbers
Part Number | Compatible Testers | Description |
ACIR-1+ | 1000R+, 1000H+, 1000HN, 1100R+, 1100H+, Touch1, Easy-Touch™, 4200, 4250 | Frame mount for any four positions |
All PCB Boards measure 3" x 6 5/8".
PCB Boards | Part Number | Board Number | Description |
 | APCB-10 | AW 17-18430 | The grid pattern of holes in the center section of the board is .1" center to center. The two "dual row" hole patterns on either edge of the board are .1" also and are designed to take a dual row header connector so you can ribbon cable down to a standard AHED-64 adapter installed in the tester below. |
 | APCB-20 | AW 17-18545 | The grid pattern of holes on the left side of the board is .2" center to center. The two "dual row" hole patterns on the right edge of the board are .1" and are designed to take a dual row header connector so you can ribbon cable down to a standard AHED-64 adapter. |
 | APCB-2M | AW 17-18598 | The grid pattern of holes in the center of the board are 2MM center to center. The four "dual row" hole patterns on both edges of the board are .1" and are designed to take a dual row header connector so you can ribbon cable down to a standard AHED-64 adapter. (Because there are no traces on the board. You must "hardwire" from the connector to the edge of the board.) |
 | APCB-05 | AW 17-18581 | The hole grid pattern in the center section of the board is .050" center to center. The two "dual row" hole patterns on either edge of the board are .1" and are designed to take a dual row header connector so you can ribbon cable down to a standard AHED-64 adapter installed in the tester below. (See photos above to see how that works.) |
 | APCB-50 | AW 17-18543 | The hole grid pattern in the center section of the board is .050" (SCSI II pattern) The "dual row" column hole patterns on the outside edges of the board are .1" and are designed to take a dual row header connector. There are traces are you can see from the center SCSI pattern to the outside dual row patterns. This allows you to easily connector up to the connector soldered on to the center of the board. |
 | APCB-SH | AW 17-18542 | The hole pattern in the center of the board is: .1" center to center. The single row of holes on the left edge of the board has spacing of .156" center to center. There are no traces from the two hole patterns mentioned to the "dual row" patterns on the right edge of the board. |
 | APCB-AH | AW 17-18561 | The hole pattern in the center of the board is .050" x .1" dual row. As you can see there are traces which run to both "dual row" footprints on the outsides of the board. These "dual row" hole patterns are .1" center to center. |
 | APCB-25 | AW 17-18548 | Hole pattern on left is .25" grid. There are no traces to the right side "dual row" footprints. The dual row hole pattern is .1" center to center. |
 | ACLP-KY | Not a PCB type board. | Blank Kydex material routed to the same dimensions as the PCBs above. This material is strong yet easy to work with. It has a slight textured surface. |
 | ACLP-G1 | Not a PCB type board | Blank G-10 material routed to the same dimensions as the PCBs above. The G-10 is stiffer material then the Kydex and it has a smooth glossy surface. |
 | APCB-4S | AW 17-18411 | Specialty "4 Wire Kelvin" Board. Frame Stand PCB designed to allow 4 wire Kelvin testing of SCSI II style connectors up to 68 positions. |
 | APCB-4D | AW 17-18441 | Specialty "4 Wire Kelvin" Board. Frame Stand PCB designed to allow 4 wire Kelvin testing of D-Sub Pattern connectors. (15, 25, 37 positions) |
