You may have trouble connecting to your XHV if you have not installed the correct drivers. 

Easy-Wire™ comes with the driver installation. To connect to your XHV: 

1. Close Easy-Wire.

2. For Windows 64-bit, point Windows Explorer to the following path: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Cirris\easywire\xHVAC Supply” 

OR for Windows 32-bit, point Windows Explorer to: “C:\Program Files\Cirris\easywire\xHVAC Supply”. 

3. Run the installer “USBXpressInstaller.exe” and follow the prompts until completed.  

If you continue having trouble connecting to your XHV, try plugging the XHV into a different USB port and wait a moment before restarting Easy-Wire.
