The easy-wire CR
- Compact (2.9 lbs) and fast.
- Base unit and expansion scanners each provide 256 test points: expandable up to 32,000 test points.
- “Daisy-chain” architecture allows test points to be distributed around device under test, reducing length and complexity of interface cabling.
Test Parameters
- User-selectable pass/fail resistance thresholds from 0.1 Ω to 500 kΩ.
- Tests resistors, diodes, and capacitors.
- Kelvin (4-wire) testing nulls out interface fixture resistance and provides measurements as low as .01 Ω.

- On-screen graphical representation of connectors and blinking LEDs allow for fast harness building. Even experienced assemblers will appreciate the immediate audible feedback provided, catching wiring errors the instant they occur.
- Easy Wire UI simplifies test program development by providing a step-by-step process with graphical prompts.
- Can select a graphic connector—from library of over 270 connectors—to add to test program.
- Connector detail can be created and stored in a library for use in multiple test programs.
- Instructions can be learned from a sample product, imported from wire list data or imported manually.

Random Back-Wiring
- After the harness board is back-wired, Easy Wire guides the user through a simple process of associating test points with connector labels and contact positions using the probe. This allows the tester to provide instructions and messages in product terminology.
LED Guided Assembly
- LEDs can be associated with test program build instructions or groups of instructions to provide visual guidance for operators.
- Each LED is driven by 2 regular test points and no special electronics are required.
Audible and Visual Results
- During guided harness assembly an audible tone sounds each time a connection is made.
- Green blinking LEDs indicate the next two points to be terminated.
- Red blinking LEDs indicate a miswired connection.

The easy-wire Server Software allows the operation of the CH2, CR, and CH+ test systems in a client server environment. This server software can be installed on Windows XP (Professional) and Winows 7 (Professional), Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008. The easy-wire Server Software allows centralized management of a single database file to be accessed and used by all easy-wire test stations. This provides centralized management of Security Settings, Test Programs, and Test Report data. You can manage your tester settings from any client connected to the easy-wire Server Software. Server and Clients must be the same version.
